I need to update my modeling portfolios. If you were me, what are a few images you would include?

Mine!!!! L()L

This really is not a well worded question to tell the truth. Simply because it all depends. Depends on what direction you want to go with your modeling. Just like building a resume, you use a different one for the different jobs you apply for.

Even though for both of us it is good to have diversity in our portfolios.... But, it is also a hindrance. They should have their own places. I suppose thats why I went through mine the other day, all 1000+ and arranged them into folders. L()L

So umm yeah. What direction do you want to go, and what type or range do you want to show off?

Had I the option to shoot anything, I would have something flowing and frilly in windswept natural setting, stark high contrast black and white nudes, something sporty, such as a running out fit with you going flat out in stopped motion, something with water, perhaps a natural stream or pool, both in an outfit and without. Something in body paint, one from the barbed wire set, couple of good close up head shots, a couple of body scapes, a couple of multi model shots, a few nudes in various lighting, studio, outside, etc, and something stark and edgy.

A little bit of fashion. Maybe some high-key shots. Get out of the studio for some stuff (like skiesofchoas said - natural settings, but maybe also some urban). Black&White. Some things with weird perspectives?

Blacklight?

Lots of stuff. Go for it!

Oh, it was deliberately loosely worded :D I was hoping to see what caught people's eyes out of my gallery, and I'll select out of that. And yes, some stuff of yours is on my list :D

To this day thought there are tremendous pieces in each series including the most recent sparks flying, my favorite works of your modeling are the Joseph Gatt and Barbed wire that have always held my attention the most for the emotions, the poses, the strength and gentleness you purvey in each of those images. There are beautiful body scapes humor in a Laugh, awe in flames but I keep coming back to those images of Dominance and submission.
Though, as =littlegett said keeping a well balance portfolio divided into sections so that you can take the ones best for each job is also a good idea.

Your barbed wire work was genius. Heck, it's all good. I know, no help at all. :shrug:
